The graph below shows a FREL projection with an overall linear growth projection in calculating its future emissions. This corresponds with the results found through the scenario modeling process for future deforestation prediction executed in the framework of the Suriname National REDD+ Strategy, based on the National Development Plan of 2017-2021 and in-depth dialogue with partner institutions and stakeholders.
